These Terms of Sale govern quotes, orders and purchases of MiraFount®, BigSpring™, LilSpring™ and related equipment and parts (“Products”) from Ahrens Agricultural Industries Co. (“Ahrens,” “we,” “us”). By submitting a quote request, dealer application or purchase order, you agree to the terms below.
Ahrens sells primarily through an authorised network of stocking dealers, farm supply distributors and co‑operatives. A request submitted through this website is an enquiry, not an order: it does not itself create a contract of sale. A binding order exists only once a dealer or our sales team issues a written quotation or order acknowledgement that you accept.
Prices are set at the time of quotation and are subject to change without notice until an order is confirmed in writing. Published or quoted prices exclude freight, installation, applicable taxes and duties unless expressly stated otherwise. Payment terms are set out on the order acknowledgement or dealer invoice and, unless agreed otherwise, are due prior to shipment.
Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Title and risk of loss for freight‑shipped Products pass to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier at our Grinnell, Iowa facility, unless the order acknowledgement states otherwise. Freight, rigging and site‑access arrangements are the buyer’s responsibility unless a delivered price has been quoted in writing.
Products are covered by the applicable Ahrens limited warranty in effect at the time of purchase. Warranty terms, coverage periods and the claims process are set out on our Warranty & Support page and, where applicable, in the written warranty accompanying the Product. The warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, misuse, unauthorised modification, normal wear, or failure to follow the installation and maintenance guidance provided with the Product.
Because most Products are supplied to order through a dealer, returns and cancellations are handled by the selling dealer under the terms agreed at the time of purchase. Custom, special‑order and OEM/private‑label items are generally non‑cancellable and non‑returnable once production has started. Contact the dealer or department that processed your order to discuss a specific return or cancellation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ahrens’ liability arising out of the sale of any Product is limited to the repair, replacement or refund of that Product under the applicable warranty. Ahrens is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost production, lost livestock or lost profits, arising from the use, installation or failure of a Product.
These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to its conflict‑of‑laws principles, and any dispute arising under them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Iowa.
We may update these Terms of Sale from time to time. The version in effect on the date an order is confirmed in writing is the version that applies to that order. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
